Collaborative Wireless/Mobile Sensing

The diverse modality of wireless and mobile devices can play important roles in the transportation ecosystem. For example, we investigate the practicability of using several Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) beacons to collaboratively locate a BLE device at a fine granularity. This technology can be used for enhancing the usability of various BLE-based in-car applications, e.g., interactive apps that requires the location of the driver's smartphone.
