Computer Networks

Networking group led by Prof. Kang G. Shin has been exploring cutting-edge newtork technolgoies, including PHY/MAC layer design, wired Internet, wireless sensor networks, wireless mesh and mobile networks, and cognitive radio networks. This group has the distinction of producing many notable researchers in the networking field. The group currently consists of 4 graduate students (all in Ph.D track) and 2 postdoctoral research fellows, and holds regular group meeting every week. Through technical presentations and paper reading in group meetings, group members actively interact with each other and expose themselves to various state-of-art areas in networking research.
